Instructions: All the fields that
appear above are optional except the forum field.
Since there is only one forum:
The "McCluer_65" forum -
Just click "Enter"
When posting a message or a reply to an existing post:
It is not necessary to enter your name or e-mail address but it would
be nice if you want others to A) know who you are and B) be able to contact
you directly.
You need not worry about spam robots picking up email addresses from the forum, robots are specifically denied access and can't read the messages without
being individually programmed to do so anyway, hardly likely even for spammers.
There are no plans ever to use any addresses supplied in the forum
for anything other than the announcement mailing list. The mailing list will be strictly double Opt-In.
The body of the message you are replying to is automatically included in your reply, however, you can edit any or all of this if you desire, you should edit it if your are replying to a long thread because most people reading the thread will have already seen the preceeding messages..
Displaying Messages
Normally all messages in a forum
are displayed. However, entering values into the
fields above will limit the messages that are displayed as follows:
Entering a keyword will display only messages with that
keyword. The keyword search can be specified as an
exact match. (Specify part of a word with exact match off
to find all messages that contain that word fragment. E.g. specifying
"ion" would find instances of conversation, destination, etc.).
You can also specify a range of dates of
messages to view. Enter a date (mm/dd/yy) for the start
and end of the range in the two fields provided. Only messages
within the range specified will be displayed.
In addition to the date range, you
can choose to limit messages displayed by age.
For example, if you wanted to view only posts 2 days
old and newer, then you would enter a "2" into the
"oldest messages" field. Likewise, to view only messages older
than a week, enter a "7" into the "youngest messages" field.
This is a little quirky, experiment to find
combinations that work.
The forums do not allow active HTML content, but if you want to
include a URL etc. that is fine, it just won't be "clickable".
